Among the first activities carried out by the Ștefan cel Mare University from Suceava (USV) are those oriented to training and mentoring (for students, academic and non-academic staff) aiming at information and knowledge transfer but also involvement in the project.
For employees from the academic environment, the theme of the training was “Coffee with Green Innovation”, an interactive training that had the effect of attracting members of the academic community and orienting them towards the objectives promoted within the project (among which are the strengthening of human capital in climate innovation and entrepreneurship). From the teaching staff, 2 members benefited also from mentoring activities and participated in work meetings regarding the project’s activities. The message promoted by the project team is: Our institution is going for climate innovation: get on board!
The student’s training targeted two key areas: “Digital transformation” and “Sustainable tourism”. 70 students participated in the two trainings (3 students also benefited from mentoring activities). The training made possible an open dialogue, exchange of ideas and high quality training in the field of sustainable tourism and digital transformation.
For the non-academic staff, the training focused on the subject – “Well-being at USV in a personal and professional context”. The guidance was carried out through the activity of mentoring and counseling (through the involvement of a psychologist from Ștefan cel Mare University). 14 people from the non-academic staff category participated (from the secretarial area, system engineers, administrators). Among them, 4 members benefited from mentoring activities and participated in work meetings regarding project activities.
These activities carried out will enable a culture of lifelong learning among USV staff. USV’s vision is to provide enhanced quality in teaching, learning and assessment.
