Contributes to the formulation and execution of unified energy management policies, including the collection, synthesis, and analysis of data on fuel and energy resource utilization by municipal entities. Manages communal property of the city’s territorial community, acting as lessor and lender for integral property complexes and their subdivisions. Facilitates the leasing, subleasing, and loaning of such properties while ensuring their responsible use. Submits proposals to the city council and its executive committee concerning property transfers into communal ownership, excluding residential and social infrastructure assets. Formulates proposals for Privatization Programs and Regulations, along with lists of communal properties eligible for privatization. Organizes and oversees the privatization process and conducts post-privatization monitoring to ensure compliance with sale agreements and enhance operational efficiency. Monitors revenue generation from privatization sales and ensures timely financial transactions related to rental income. Fosters the growth and enhancement of the city’s trade, restaurant, and service sectors. Coordinates local markets, facilitates fairs and exhibitions, and supervises public service standards, ensuring compliance with consumer protection legislation. Supports the marketing of locally produced goods and collaborates with businesses to establish convenient operating schedules for service facilities, with oversight to ensure adherence to agreed-upon terms.

NGO

«Agency for Innovations and Development» (AID)

Agency has participated in a range of internal Ukrainian grants, and has been a partner in educational and training activities. The members of NGO “Agency for Innovations and Development” have experience in developing and implementation of cross border cooperation projects (including within Joint Operational Programme Romania – Ukraine 2014 – 2020). The experience of organization may still be simple, but the experience of its members can cover all of the necessary competencies for project implementation. Currently, the NGO, as the partner, implements the project “Security and protection – a common factor of cross-border cooperation” (SAFEPROT) is implemented within the framework of the Joint Operational Program Romania – Ukraine 2014-2020, financed by the European Neighborhood Instrument, and aims to increase the level of security and protection of the population in the border area in the Suceava – Chernivtsi zone by reducing the average response time to situations as a result of increasing the level of professional training and operational capabilities of specialists in emergency situations, services and structures that have legal powers in civil protection activities. Also, in the winter of 2024, with the support of the Innovative Climate Change Research Laboratory, the NGO received consultations during the preparation of the “School-based Hazard Identification and Education for Local Disasters” project for participation in the Joint Operational Program Romania – Ukraine 2021 – 2027 to Specific objective1.1: Promoting climate change adaptation and disaster risk prevention, resilience, taking into account eco-system based approaches.

Limited Liability Company «Max Clean City» was created on 06.06.2022 and works as a cleaning and waste management company located in the city of Chernivtsi, Ukraine. Max Clean City is a young and dynamic team that strives to implement and use modern technologies and approaches to ensure cleanliness at the highest level. The company has at its disposal modern washing and disinfecting equipment, a large fleet of cars, and facilities for processing and sorting waste. The company’s staff constantly learns and improves their qualifications. The company signed a contract with the Chernivtsi municipality for the removal of waste. For waste disposal in Chernivtsi, the company placed 1,700 containers with a volume of 1.1 cubic meters, 36 containers with a volume of 8 cubic meters, 100 containers with a volume of 0.12 cubic meters. At the moment, the company has employed more than 50 people.

Polonyna Argo LLC operates within the Chernivtsi region, engaging in the cultivation of agricultural crops, specifically grain and technical crops such as wheat, barley, corn, soybeans, sunflower, etc. The company also undertakes processing activities, notably oil production, utilizing implemented ecological technologies. Its products are distributed in Ukraine and European countries.

The “I de IA Development Center” aims to develop and scale its business by offering high-quality daycare for children aged 2 to 6 years, allowing parents to more effectively balance work and family life. Additionally, the center provides afternoon clubs and classes, including English, dance, school preparation, sports activities, and creative studios, helping children develop their skills and interests. For mothers, the center organizes fitness classes, enabling them to maintain their physical fitness while their children are supervised. The art studio and master classes with a psychologist contribute to the creative and psychological development of both children and parents. Overall, our project addresses several pressing community issues, including supporting families, nurturing children’s and women’s talents, promoting community development, and creating opportunities for creativity and self-expression. The project also fosters the development of women’s entrepreneurship, particularly among internally displaced persons (IDPs) and the wives of military personnel.

The Ukrainian Soil Partnership Association, established and presented on November 28, 2019, as part of the subregional Eurasian Soil Partnership (EASP) and the European Soil Partnership (ESP) under the auspices of the Global Soil Partnership, will act as a single national platform for dialog and cooperation between parties at the national level.
The founders of the partnership were 7 national institutes that are leading institutions in the field of soil monitoring. The purpose of the Association is to support and promote sustainable management of soil and land resources to ensure food security, and adaptation and mitigation of climate change that will contribute to the achievement of regional and global common goals by implementing the principles of the Global Soil Partnership and the ground set out in the World Charter for all stakeholders on the basis of a fair and transparent partnership for all its participants.
