The students had the opportunity to network with entrepreneurs implementing innovative environmental projects, as well as visit the Chernivtsi office of the international IT company SoftServe and find out about the implementation of the Environmental Sustainability programme.
The participants of the Innovation Week presented 9 eco-business ideas related to the recycling and disposal of plastic and car tyres, the production of eco-friendly detergents from horse chestnut, the creation of reusable paper from waste, the production of fibre from hemp, and others.
The winner of the competition was the ECO-HUB startup by students of the Faculty of Economics, who presented their business ideas on the international platform of the ILCA project. ECO-HUB is a project that aims to teach environmentally friendly behaviour. The team focused on recycling and creating prostheses for the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
