An action organized within the ILCA project – “Innovation Laboratories for Climate Action”
Innovation Week was an important event in USV aiming to promote innovation, entrepreneurship, and creativity among students and young professionals.
Innovation was the key word and the challenge for students, teachers and the business environment, who teamed up in the activities carried out on the occasion of the event planned over the course of a week and entitled INNOVATION WEEK – event initiated within the ILCA project – “Innovation Laboratories for Climate Action” – implemented by our university, being an important contribution of “Ștefan cel Mare” University in the direction of building an integrated ecosystem for climate innovation but also in our becoming supporters of entrepreneurship and competitiveness through many activities carried out within this project (training, counseling, specific infrastructure development and research – such as the Innovation Lab).
The week-long event featured a variety of activities, including workshops, presentations, competitions, and networking opportunities. Participants had the opportunities to exchange ideas and knowledge about new technologies, business models, and entrepreneurship. They had the chance to connect with professionals from the business world and get feedback on their own.
Innovation Week USV FEAA has attracted over 200 participants from Romania and abroad (especially Moldova and Ukraine) through on-site and on-line activities.
Here are some of the highlights of Innovation Week at USV:
· Workshops/courses with innovative methods: participants attended a demonstrative course on business ideas and business plan approach.
· Alumni Fair with Innovative businesses – Networking opportunities: Participants connected with professionals from the business world and got feedback on their own ideas.
· Business Plan Competitions: Participants competed in competitions for start-ups and business ideas.
· Scientific panel discussions on Digitalization and Green Transition
· Business financing opportunities – presentation for student’s entrepreneurs in search of financing opportunities
· The final public presentation, in the online environment, of the best business ideas and their award (international event, with guests from partner countries)
