Building an ecosystem for startup support remains a challengey for Vilnius College of Technologies and Design, as it did not have a lot of experience in this domain. Today, we present Madhauz, a dynamic and innovative company founded by a group of young and enthusiastic architects. Our journey began by inviting the CEO of Madhauz to participate in our Innovation Week, where students, with guidance from VTDK lecturers, tackled the challenge and ultimately presented a concept for a Sustainable Mobile Office at the event’s Hackathon.
Brief Description of the Startup
MADHAUZ is a young emerging architecture company. They specialize in designing houses, commercial buildings, and captivating spaces. Their approach is all about finding the delicate balance between conventional and unconventional architectural ideas. With a humble mindset, they strive to bring fresh perspectives to each project, blending innovation with thoughtful consideration for design principles. They are passionate about creating functional and visually appealing spaces that tell unique stories. The company transform concepts into reality, creating spaces that inspire and enrich the lives of those who experience them.
Description of Consulting Services Provided
The consulting services provided to Madhauz aimed at developing a mobile, fully sustainable office concept. The initial concepts were developed by student teams during the Hackathon, and the winning idea was further developed by the winning team, supervised and consulted by lecturers. The consultancy included:
- Preparation of technical specifications
- Presentation of various interior solution options
- Development of visual design and corporate advertising style
- Application of innovative costing methods for activities and services
- Conducting a study on the use of secondary industrial waste
- Exploring opportunities to attract funding

Results and Progress
As a result of the consultancy, Madhauz achieved several milestones:
- Developed a concept for a Sustainable Mobile Office;
- Identified the most suitable interior design solutions and visual design for the mobile office;
- Estimated the cost of realizing the office using sustainable materials.
