Training and mentoring of students, academic staff and non-academic staff were successfully conducted at the Forestry University – Sofia. The courses were in all scientific directions of the project, namely:
- Strategic thinking and decision-making in the context of green innovations
- Circular economy for sustainable use of natural resources
- Eco entrepreneurship
- There was a lot of interest in the trainings – 67 students, 21 academic staff and 15 non-academic staff members participated. Participants gained knowledge about entrepreneurship in the modern world and climate challenges, green innovation and strategic orientations in start-up and growing enterprises. The thematic direction within the circular economy course focused on home composting was a great success. With the help of trainings within the framework of the ILCA project, an active campaign to create a culture focused on the environment and innovative entrepreneurship was carried out at the Forestry University. Each participant touched the magic of innovation and climate preservation.
The courses were used as an effective communication channel to promote ILCA project among students academic and non-academic staff. The students and academic staff, who got acquainted with the goals and tasks of the project, expressed their desire to participate in Phase 2 and in the newly created Laboratory of Entrepreneurship and Innovation.
