Our laboratory effectively contributes to climate change mitigation and adaptation at the regional level through close collaboration with key stakeholders. As co-orchestrators, Savonia University of Applied Sciences and the National Resources Institute Finland (Luke):
- Improve strategic competitiveness while focusing on the development of innovative economic thinking and innovation culture. We promote sustainability investments in research, development, and innovation made by companies.
- Explore the social acceptability of innovations and develop value networks, innovation ecosystems and responsible business models.
- Improve the resilience of different actors in society as part of comprehensive security. We create new opportunities for developing disaster management and supply chain stability through scenario building and forecasting activities.
- Support the resilience of residents in times of crisis. We integrate climate security and cultural expertise into regional, national, and international development processes.
As co-orchestrators, Savonia and Luke, provide services individually and jointly.
