On the joint initiative of the Department of Education of the Chernivtsi City Council and the Economics Faculty of the Chernivtsi National University, the ILСA team launched a cool project!
“Student Innovative Business Hub” is 9 meetings with interesting speakers, successful businessmen and scientists.
The final of the student innovative business hub ended with pitching – the presentation of team business ideas with an emphasis on the Sustainable Development Goals.
In February and March, there was theory, and on April 3, in practice, lyceum and gymnasium students demonstrated how they learned the material during the business game “Ekoton” in the “Chernivtsi” cinema hall.
«Ecoton» participants in 33 teams from various educational institutions presented their business ideas and teamwork skills to an expert jury. The evaluation criteria were environmental friendliness, innovativeness, viability of the business idea and/or its social significance.
There were many innovative ideas: an eco-cafe, an online pet store, a recruiting company, the creation of a consulting center for the innovative technology development, training in floristry, recycling plastic packaging from lipsticks… The creativity of schoolchildren was off the charts, so all participants received the appropriate certificates. The winners also received gifts from partners with ILCA logos.
